TEACHING
Dr. Jiménez teaches the subjects “Automatica”, “Industrial Automation”, “Automated systems” and “Automated and control technologies” in the different Industrial Degrees and Master Degree offered by the School of Engineering Sci. (Cordoba, Spain).

Additionally, he has taught several external courses oriented to industrial automation and Industry 4.0 training (PLC programming, SCADAs, robotics, etc.)

He has served as Academic Director of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Process Control (Universities of Cordoba and Jaen) from 2011 to 2017.

RESEARCH AND TRANSFER
His main research areas are advanced process control, control engineering, modeling, simulation and optimization, in particular applied to biological processes, HVAC systems, electrical microgrids and time series in biomedicine.
