Who are we?
Nowadays Differential Geometry is one of the most prolific fields in Mathematics. In our opinion, this is due to the fact that it connects all the main branches in Mathematics: from the most classical ones like Annalysis and Algebra to more recent ones like Topology. On the other hand, Differential Geometry is in the basics of many of the latest theories of Classical and Contemporary Physics.
The aim of this web page is to let people know about a small group of members of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Córdoba, specialized in Differential Geometry, and to show their teaching and researching activities.
Our main purpose is to show our research activity and to make easier the contact with others research groups in our field. Mathematics makes all its sense in the ambit of creation. The duties of a mathematician should be more than spreading the knowledge: a mathematician must create knowledge.
