The event “International Meeting on Differential Geometry, Córdoba 2010” will be held in the University of Córdoba from 15th November, 2010 to 17th November, 2010. On the other hand, the 18th November, 2010 will take place the series of conferences “An Introduction to General Relativity from a Mathematical Point of View”. This event is organized by the professors Alma L. Albujer Brotons, Magdalena Caballero Campos and Rafael M. Rubio Ruiz of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Córdoba. The University of Córdoba and the Town Hall of Córdoba are sponsors of the event.
The aim of the meeting is to propitiate a scientific exchange between researchers of different groups and to let people know the beginning of a new research line on geometry in the University of Córdoba.
The scientific program of the meeting will consist of plenary lectures and oral communications. The plenary lectures will be given by Prof. Luis J. Alías (Universidad de Murcia), Prof. Rossella Bartolo (Politecnico di Bari), Prof. Olaf Müller (Universität Regensburg), Prof. Alfonso Romero (Universidad de Granada) and Prof. Miguel Sánchez (Universidad de Granada). We encourage the participants to submit oral contributions.
The event is supported by two of the main spanish research groups in differential geometry: the research group “Geometría Diferencial y sus Aplicaciones” of the Junta de Andalucía, constituted by researchers of the universities of Granada, Málaga and Córdoba, and the research group “Geometría Diferencial y Convexa” of the University of Murcia.
After the meeting some proceedings will be edited containing the plenary lectures and the contributions made by the participants.

In case of submitting an oral communication, please also send a preliminary title and abstract of the contribution. The registration fee is 60 euros and can be paid at the beginning of the meeting.
