Biography

Jesus Barreiro-Hurle is a senior scientist at the European Commission’s Joint Research Center. He has over 25 years’ experience in academia and international organisations dealing with agricultural and environmental policy. His work focuses on understanding farmer and consumer decisions incorporating a behavioural dimension and has been published in leading journals in the field such as the European Review of Agricultural Economics, Food Policy and the Ecological Economics.
