VISION ZERO WORLD PREVENTION STRATEGY IN AGRICULTURE
International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in Agriculture15 – 17 May 2019 Córdoba, Spain
39th International Colloquium of the International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in Agriculture will be held in Cordoba, Spain on 15-17 May 2019. The Colloquium is organized by the International Section of the ISSA on Prevention in Agriculture in cooperation with University of Córdoba from Spain and Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) from Poland.
The Colloquium aims to provide a platform for experts to share their experiences and new ideas regarding the actions, that will lead to zero accidents and occupational diseases in agriculture. The Colloquium is mainly addressed to employers and employees from agriculture sector, occupational safety experts, researchers, work medicals and experts from the area of public health. The conference organizers would especially welcome farmers, OSH experts, national institutions, social partners, testing and certification bodies.
The objective of Colloquium is to explore and present recent achievements and highlight good practices regarding various aspects of prevention in agriculture, including the following topics:
- New approaches to farmers safety and social policy,
- Innovation and new technologies in agriculture,
- Health protection/health prevention for farmers,
- Occupational diseases and disabilities (inability to work)
- Stress release and mental health programmes.
- Return to work/work-life balance – comprehensive approach
The working languages of the Colloquium are English, French and Spanish
