Quality Management Systems (QMS) are a set of organised actions aimed to direct and control organisations in those aspects related to Quality. All QMS, previous to their set up and ongoing maintenance, must be developed following very specific criteria. QMS’s for hunting reserves (HQMS) borrows the principles of sustainable habitat and species management found in Andalusian wildlife regulations.
HQMS, used efficiently and in accordance with the singular traits of each hunting premise, rest upon a correct and balanced use of natural resources that ensure its sustainabality.
Following these guidelines that aim to achieve a rational and sustainable management of hunting and wildlife resources the goal is to promote hunting and biodiversity as a renewable natural resource that brings economic, social and ecological development to rural areas.
Quality Management Norms have proven their effectiveness in the last years as an activity-increasing strategy for different agents in economic life. Quality, as a concept, has become a common denominator to both public and public interests.
Setting up HQMS allows game and hunting suppliers to stand out from the rest and benefit economically as well as biologically and ecologically improving the Andalusian countryside. This tandem is the key to launching rural development.
