Profile

Luis Costa Palacios (Córdoba, 1953)

Associate Professsor at the Deprtament English and German Studies of the University of Córdoba. In 1983 he obtained a British Council Scholarship to follow a M.A. Course on Linguistics and Stylistics at the University of East Anglia (Norwich) under the supervision of Prof. Roger Fowler. Back in Córdoba, where he was Assistant Professor at the Department of English Studies, he completed his PhD thesis on Tom Stoppard's Travesties. His research interests include English Literature, Modernist and Postmodernist literature, narratology and semiotics and communication.

He has been visiting scholar at Oberlin College, Ohio, Wooster College, Ohio, Wellesley College, Boston, Ma, and the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Mo.

English Literature, Modernist and Postmodernist Literature, narratology.
