Verónica Pedraza Jiménez is a PhD in Biosciences and Agrifood Sciences and an agricultural engineer with research experience in different thematic areas such as agricultural economics and agricultural production.
Her research interests are focused on studying innovative and effective crop management systems to improve agronomic, economic and environmental sustainability under Mediterranean climate conditions. Specifically, she is working on integrated weed management strategies for olive orchards in Spain. This project, within the framework of the Horizon 2020 Programme, aims to validate and implement better practices for increasing soil protection, limiting the use of chemicals and maintaining crop productivity.
