Institute of Agricultural and Fishing Research and Training (IFAPA)

Biography

PhD. Agricultural Engineer. Research scientist at the Institute of Agricultural and Fisheries Research and Training (IFAPA), part of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Andalusia. Her work is focused in the development of theory, principles and methods for understanding spatial and temporal linkages between plant and soil water dynamics utilizing a combination of remote sensing, measurements and models. Research is concentrated on agriculture and natural ecosystems of semiarid regions with a broad focus on applications that support management decisions and a specialized focus on the application of remote sensing to complex savanna ecosystems and the impact of global change on their natural resources management.
