Lourdes Algar Zafra did a Bachelor in Environmental Sciences and a Master in agro-food both at the University of Córdoba and she finished them in July of 2018 and July of 2019, respectively. During her Bachelor and her Master, she received two research grants that allowed her to start investigating. In October 2019, she started working as a PhD Student at the Supramolecular Analytical Chemisry Group (PhD supervisors Full Prof. María Dolores Sicilia Criado and Full Prof. Soledad Rubio) of the Analytical Chemistry Department of the University of Córdoba. For this position, she was selected for a competitive research grant (FPU) due to her education and laboratory experience acquired during her previous formation. During this time, her thesis has been focused on the development of innovative extractive technologies based on functional supramolecular solvents.
