Ayman N. Saber

Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Ayman N. Saber is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Córdoba, Spain, working on the Chem-Fish-Plastic project under the European Union-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2021) and an MSc from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (2016). Since 2011, he has been affiliated with the Agriculture Research Center in Egypt, where he progressed from Agricultural Specialist to Research Assistant in the Pesticide Residues & Environmental Pollution Department.

Dr. Saber’s expertise lies in analyzing organic and inorganic pollutant residues across environmental matrices, focusing on pesticides, PCBs, PAHs, heavy metals, VOCs, and SVOCs. His technical skills include advanced operation and troubleshooting of LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, and ICP-MS instruments. Additionally, he has extensive experience in environmental monitoring, risk assessments, and sustainable agriculture practices.

Dr. Saber has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and contributed to book chapters on topics related to environmental pollution and remediation. He is actively engaged in academic training, having taught students analytical methods for environmental monitoring. His international experience spans fellowships and research stays in Japan, China, and Spain, and his work has been recognized with awards such as the CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship and the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship.
