Biography

María Loreto Lunar Reyes is professor of the Analytical Chemistry Department of the University of Córdoba (Spain) since 1998,  where became full professor in 2018. She was graduated in Chemistry in 1987 and obtained her Ph. D. degree in Sciences in 1993 in this University. She is co-author of different papers related to the study of the chemical degradation of organic pollutants, instrumental and kinetometric discrimination in the analysis of multi-components,  and innovations in Supramolecular Analytical Chemistry. She has participated in various Research Spanish Projects and one European Project. At the present, she is working on Supramolecular Analytical Chemistry, especially focused on the design and synthesis of tailored bio-Supramolecular Solvents (bioSUPRAS) for their application on the sample treatments for target and non-target analysis of organic contaminants and the sustainable extraction of bioactive ingredients from vegetal biomass.
