RESEARCH GROUP TEP-215
“PHYSICS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGIES”
The research group was created by Rafaél López Luque in 2000 to promote new lines of research that at that time had no place in existing groups, and to provide administrative, personal and scientific support to researchers interested in participating and collaborating. in the development of research work related to renewable energies and, especially, to solar energy.
It is a space in which to help each other to continue promoting professional research careers, and at the same time, allow the sharing of ideas, occurrences and concerns related to the lines of research and try to collectively make possible those that were feasible. and would allow, as far as possible, the advance of science and technology in the field of renewables.
This has been and continues to be the framework of a research group that is flexible and open to new lines of research that is enriched as a result of this way of working together as a team.
The main objective of the group is to collaborate in the development of scientific-technological solutions that enable optimising the use of renewable energies (access, distribution and monitoring) and their sustainability; and thus contribute to making it possible in the future for most of the energy we consume and produce to come from clean energies.
