Functions

The functions of the Committee, according to its Operating Regulations, are as follows:

1.1. The Committee, which oversees compliance with the principles and good practices contained in the Code, has as its general function to contribute to the good governance of research and its integrity at the University of Cordoba.

1.2. The Committee, in particular,

a) Reports on the conflicts that may arise in relation to the aspects of research contained in the Code, proposing a solution to them.

b) Promotes communication between the parties concerned or involved in the conflicts referred to in letter a) and assists them in reaching, in compliance with the Code, a prompt and amicable settlement of such conflicts.

c) Advises on the interpretation and application of the Code.

d) Promotes integrity in research and good scientific practices by incorporating the Code in the training programs for researchers and disseminating it to the scientific community.

e) Proposes modifications to the Code and these Regulations.

1.3. The functions of the Committee are not those of the Bioethics and Biosafety Committee of the University of Cordoba.
