The expected rains arrived in mid-January, which allowed us to start several trials with cereals in the pilot farm “Rabanales” of the EU LIFE Innocereal project. The trials consist of evaluating different application rates of different nitrogen fertilisers, together with different formulations and doses of biostimulants. The crops tested are durum wheat and barley. After the rains, the first nitrogen fertiliser was applied to the rest of the cereal plots. The aim of these trials is to optimise the production factors and to obtain the highest possible yield. This will be possible thanks to all the Best Management Practices that will be applied during the agricultural campaign.
