Partners in the European LIFE Innocereal EU project have started trials to optimise fertiliser use using soil bacteria, which can reduce fertiliser use while maintaining crop quantity and quality.
Several members of the project held a virtual meeting on 13 January to prepare the variable fertiliser distribution maps.
Specifically, the University of Cordoba, the entity leading the project, and Greenfield Technologies, a partner in the project, aim to economically and environmentally optimise the cultivation of cereals in this initiative.
