The Research Group "Knowledge Discovery and Intelligent Systems" (KDIS) belongs to the University of Cordoba, Spain. This research group was founded in 2009 by Prof. Sebastián Ventura who is the principal investigator currently. The KDIS Lab goes beyond soft-computing (especially on bio-inspired algorithms), knowledge discovery in large databases, machine learning and its applications to diverse problems in different areas (e.g., anomaly detection, recommender systems, personalization and improvement of education systems, among others).
