Gonzalo Zurera is full professor at the University of Cordoba. He is the team leader of the research group AGR-170 HIBRO. He has a broad experience (more than 30 years) in the field of Food Hygiene, giving lectures in the Veterinary and Food Science and Technology degrees of the University of Cordoba. He has (co)authored over 200 full papers in international journals and international conference proceedings, and edited books in these areas. His work has been cited over 3000 times (h-index 30). He has (co)supervised 14 PhD theses. Gonzalo has been involved in several international and national Research Projects (over 30), participating in 7 of them as main project coordinator. He served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Food Protection and part of the scientific committee of the Spanish Food Safety and Nutrition Agency (2003-2010).
