His professional interest is based on business models over IoT and the management of context data..

Received the B.S. degree in Physics in 2000, from the University of Cordoba, Spain and later, in 2005, received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering at the same University. He has developed his Doctoral Thesis in a research group of the Department of Physics from the University of Cordoba, Spain. The defense of his Doctoral Thesis was in May 2014.

She has developed her Doctoral Thesis in Evaluation of Agricultural and Rural Policies, Agricultural competitiveness and Rural Planning, the denfense was in January 2002.

Dr. Ingeniero Agrónomo, Catedrático de Ingeniería Cartográfica, Geodesia y Fotogrametría en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Agrónomos y Montes, de la Universidad de Córdoba, de la que ha sido Director durante 8 años. Es experto en aplicaciones geomáticas en el manejo de recursos naturales, Dirige el Departamento de Ingeniería Gráfica y Geomática y el grupo de trabajo AEROMETRIC Lab. que analiza las posibilidades de las nuevas constelaciones de satélites, de las plataformas no tripuladas y el desarrollo de nuevos sensores en agricultura de precisión y sector agroforestal. Director del Master en Transformación Digital del Sector Agroalimentario y Forestal (DigitalAgri) de la Universidad de Córdoba.

Profesor Titular del Departamento de Ingeniería Electrónica y de Computadores de la Universidad de Córdoba. Licenciado en Ciencias Físicas, especialidad en Electrónica, desde julio de1987, y Doctor por la Universidad de Córdoba desde diciembre de 2013. Es profesor de la Universidad de Córdoba desde 1996. Desde 1987 a 1996 trabajó en el departamento de I+D de Fujitsu España, en el departamento de I+D de Tecosa (grupo Siemens) y en el departamento de Comunicaciones Informáticas de Telefónica de España.

Su labor de Investigación está relacionada con el desarrollo de sistemas empotrados de bajo consumo para su utilización en redes de sensores, la implementación de aritmética redundante en FPGAs y HW/SW codesing.
